Overview
At Action List, we respect your right to control your personal data. This document explains how you can request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.
What Data We Store
When you use Action List, we store the following data associated with your account:
Account Data
- Email address
- Display name
- Account preferences (language, theme)
Task Data
- Task titles and descriptions
- Due dates and timestamps
- Task status and comments
- Search keywords (auto-generated from task content)
Attachments
- Images uploaded to tasks
- Documents attached to tasks
- Contact information you've linked to tasks
- Location data you've added to tasks
Technical Data
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for notifications
- Usage analytics (anonymized)
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Delete Individual Tasks and Attachments
Within the app, you can delete individual tasks and their associated attachments:
- Open the task you want to delete
- Select the delete or discard option
- Confirm the deletion
This will permanently remove the task and all its attachments from our servers.
Option 2: Delete Your Entire Account
To delete your account and all associated data:
In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open Action List
- Go to Settings or Profile section
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
- Your account and all data will be scheduled for deletion
Email Request
- Send an email to: contact@cosqnetwork.com
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Action List account
- We will verify your identity and process your request
What Gets Deleted

What We May Retain
- Legal Requirements: Data required to be retained by law or to comply with legal processes
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot identify you
- Backup Systems: Data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being automatically purged
Data Deletion Confirmation
- You will receive an email confirmation at your registered email address
- The confirmation will include the date of deletion and what data was removed
- You will no longer be able to log in with your previous credentials
Restoring Deleted Data
Important: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted:
- You cannot recover your tasks, attachments, or other data
- You will need to create a new account to use Action List again
- Your previous data cannot be restored
We recommend exporting any important information before requesting deletion.

Children's Data
If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at contact@cosqnetwork.com. We will promptly delete such data.
